Profile
Ticia's work is diverse but her passion is colour and texture. She is interested in the concept of fragility and this influences much of her textiles.
Some recent work has focussed on British Birds working them on fine silk which is suspended above an embroidered hand stitched background, thus creating a two layered wall hanging.
She is also working on a further series of birds using medieval manuscripts as her inspiration and including opulent materials and detailed stitching.
